TSAVO NATIONAL PARK (EAST AND WEST)
Tsavo National Park consists of Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National Park. The border between the two parks is the road that connects the capital Nairobi with the city of Mombasa.
Tsavo East National Park is the larger of the two and is famous for the large number of elephants that flock to the Galana River and then wander the plains. Also in this park you can see lions, leopards and buffaloes and you can admire countless species of birds.
Tsavo West National Park stretches south to the border with Tanzania. Here are the beautiful Mzima springs. Here you can see hippos, Nile crocodiles and fish swimming in a cave hidden under a lake.
